Nova Ring - Wellness tracking at your fingertips.
Nova is an AI-powered smart ring designed to make health tracking feel effortless. We developed the complete 3D motion design case study for its latest launch.
The product appealed to us for sitting at the intersection of technology and wearable fashion, a category that rewards close attention to both material and mechanism.
Detail
Getting the ring's surface tactility right mattered more than any single shot in the piece. Every texture, finish and subtle variation needed to read as authentic, so we spent considerable time on lighting that could reveal those nuances without overstating them.
Highlights, shadows and reflections were placed deliberately, each one calibrated to show how the material actually responds to light rather than exaggerating it for effect.

Rather than cutting away to a diagram or exploded view, the transitions stay fluid, treating the hidden mechanics as just another level of the same object worth exploring.
Levels
The final layer of the piece was about depth of access. Moving from exterior to interior let us reveal the ring's inner workings and technology without breaking the visual rhythm established in the earlier sections.
This pushed us away from conventional product presentation and toward something closer to a dream state, a visual language that feels graceful and dreamlike.
Lightness
We wanted the ring to feel like it was defying gravity wherever possible. Letting it appear suspended, weightless or delicately balanced within each composition became a way of emphasising its refined, elegant character.
